I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at Georgia Tech. My research interests can be broadly summarized as the mathematics of data science, which is a mix of mathematical statistics, applied probability, theoretical computer science, and other related fields. In recent years, my primary research focus has been on statistical inference on random graphs.
Before joining Georgia Tech, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University from 2018 to 2019, working with Yihong Wu. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics and Statistics from MIT in 2018, advised by Philippe Rigollet. I received B.S. and M.A. degrees in Mathematics from UCLA in 2013.
